Three Eureka Rotary Clubs, (Rotary Club of Eureka, Old Town Rotary and Southwest Rotary) are joining together to “Weed Out the Streets of Eureka”. The community is urged to join in. Bring work gloves and any tools you may have and let’s get this done!

Past President, Matthew Owen from the Rotary Club of Eureka said that the event will be happening on Sunday, July 28 from 12 noon to 3pm. “We will meet at Carson Park, 2607 H Street in Eureka. From there we will be going out to weed out the streets along H & I Streets, Burn and Henderson Streets.”

Owen added, “Many local residents are not aware that the city no longer takes responsibility for cleaning up the weeds at the gutter and curb area. Therefore, this has become an urgent need and it’s up to us the residents of Eureka to work together to fix the problem.” Please call Matthew Owen at 707-599-9110 with any questions.
